Nogatsaa Pans Private Game Lodge Solar Installation
Nogatsaa Pans is a breathtaking private lodge in the Chobe Game reserve in Northern Botswana.
Widowbird Solar Solutions was commissioned by the owners to design and install a suitable power system to run the entire 12 chalet Lodge and staff village. This was done simultaneously with the original lodge construction. This is always easier as we can then specify what electrical equipment the lodge should use and implement the most efficient energy consumers available.
The power system at Nogatsaa Pans consists of the following:
- 120 x 260 watt Solar Modules ( 31.2 Kwp )
- 3x Victron Quattro 15 Kva Inverter Chargers
- 5x Victron 250/100 Smart solar MPPTS
- 1x Freedom Won 100Kwh Lithium Iron Battery
- 1x Victron color control (used for remote monitoring and system control )
